Tiger
Whoa there Tiger! No need to kill everyone in your path to find out more about your Leadership Instinct. Tigers are laser-focused, driven, and love to work, making them a common instinct among managers and executives. They have one eye on the finish line, and the other eye on their next task. If you need something accomplished quickly, go to a Tiger. They’ll get it done and probably be raring to go on the next task by the time they finish. They have a seemingly endless supply of energy and are always looking ahead at their next strategic move.
Boom! That’s the sound of all the Tiger’s employees collapsing in exhaustion. It can be hard to keep up with a boss who has that endless supply of energy and drive, especially when that same boss usually doesn’t stop for things like motivation. They’re usually self-motivated, so they tend to not realize that others may need an encouraging word. And they can be stubborn and actually enjoy conflict. You Ostriches may think we’re being harsh, but don’t worry, Tigers can take it.
Strengths:
- They’re driven, focused and hardworking.
- They are "doers" and decision makers.
- They have a lot of energy and passion for their work.
Weaknesses:
- Sometimes, they treat people like problems to be solved rather than...people.
- They tend to be stubborn, and others may see them as over bearing.
- They put work first, often before relationships in their personal lives.
If you’re a Tiger, well, let’s be honest. A little less sharpening of the claws could do you some good. But we promise not to de-claw you completely. Learn how to tame your instinct at the Leadership Instinct Simulcast so you’ll know how to stay in charge without eating everyone else for lunch.
